TREATS: A different route through Kirkland NOTE 11 AM Start
If you are new, please read our newcomer information.
Join the regular Tuesday group (TREATS) for a ride from Heritage Park in Kirkland on a 25 mile route at steady pace. We will wander north through Kirkland to Woodinville, Bothell and North Creek. We'll stop of lunch or coffee near UW Bothell. There are hills on this route (of course), but we'll ride at our own pace and regroup at the top of the climbs.
Let's meet at the Heritage Park in Kirkland at 10:45 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 11 AM. Restrooms are not available at the start, but we'll stop at a public restroom after less than one mile of cycling. Parking is free.
You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
This ride is available for ride leader candidates wanting a mentored ride. Please contact the leader several days in advance.
