Less Hills on a Thursday! (Steady)

Please join us for a Less Hills ride! This is a less hilly alternative to Wednesday night's More Hills series, with a target of ~20 miles. It is a perfect way to add a little training for otherwise weekend riders without spending too much time on the bike.
The weekly route will be posted in the comments, below, approximately 48 hours prior to ride start. We have a library of routes which we rotate through which can include neighborhood streets around Green Lake, Northgate, Wedgwood, Madison Park, Leschi, Downtown, Queen Anne, Magnolia, Fremont, Ballard, Greenwood and Shoreline. We start at the picnic table near Lower Woodland Park soccer field #2 (look for the bathroom building, the picnic table is just south by the big tree).
For the most part, we will ride on urban streets and occasionally trails. We will keep the published pace on flats, but you can go uphill at your own pace and regroup at the top. We will keep the group together on these rides.
Please pack cue sheet, water, snack, and tools/tubes to fix a flat as always. Even though the majority of ride will be in daylight, please bring lights (both front and back) just in case of any hold-ups. We will roll at 6 pm, so please arrive ready to ride at 5:45 pm to listen to the safety briefing and any other instructions.
You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
Weather notice: In case of inclement weather, the ride leader will post a cancellation notice in the comments section below not less than two hours prior on the day of the ride, and Ride Leaders will not be at the ride start.
