Ride Description:

It's going to be a beautiful summer weekend. Come join me for a "Sleep in a bit/easy jaunt down some trails/coffee and pastry" kind of ride. We'll start at 10:00 AM at Old City Hall in Renton (200 Mill Ave S), then meander out the Cedar River Trail to Maple Valley. We'll head south past Lake Wilderness and Lake Sawyer to get to the Black Diamond Bakery. We'll have a break and a snack, and then return via Kent-Black Diamond Road and the Soos Creek Trail. Please plan to arrive by 9:40, so that we can get everyone accounted for and go over a short safety brief.

Restrooms are not available at the start, but we'll have a short stop at Ron Regis Park about three miles in. On the way back, we'll drop in to Lake Meridian Park for a short rest stop.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

Come join me, see you Sunday!

In a fit of brilliance, I accidently deleted the route from my RWGPS page.  Here's the link:
