SnoCoNo Ramble (Arlington-North Trailhead)
If you are new, please read our newcomer information.
SnoCoNo=Snohomish County North. This is a great beginner ride or early season stretch the legs ride. We will ride Centennial Trail to the Barn and back with possible forays onto side roads to explore. The ride is posted as moderate, which is a pace of 14-16 on the flats with no wind. We will limit speed to 15mph when on multi-use paths. This is a stay together ride. Please check your tires and bike condition before leaving home. You should come prepared to repair any flats or mechanicals on your own, but Ride Leader has experience to help.
MORE MILES - Another option is to continue south after we return to the start so riders who want to go further can do so. This is the Arlington-Getchell route and adds about 21 miles
REGISTRATION: Please click on the bright red “Register Now” button above to sign up for the ride (you need to have or create an account, but it is free) - it saves time at the start and makes sure I can read your contact info.
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the ride to get your bike ready and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be ambassadors of the bike community and be safe! Riders should be able to maintain the pace. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Rainy weather will cancel the ride.
Check for route updates the day before ride.
Ride cancellation will be announced in the Comments section at least two (2) hours prior to the ride start. If you have questions about the weather, please call the phone number listed in the Contact Information, preferably before you leave for the ride.
