Ride Description: 

This is a 9-week progressive series intended to prepare us to start strong in our spring training rides. Optional social gatherings are available before and after the rides to meet and connect with Ride Leaders and fellow riders.

This week’s ride starts at Top Pot Doughnuts at The Landing. We’ll head clockwise around the southern part of Lake Washington and stop at Newcastle Beach Park for a quick restroom break.

After the ride is finished, please feel free to join us at The Rock Wood Fired Kitchen (The Landing, 830 N 10th St, Renton) for a bite to eat.

Rest Stops: Newcastle Beach Park MP 18.8

Parking: Please do not park in front of Top Pot Doughnuts or any other storefront.  Park well out in the main parking lot, away from businesses.

Restroom use at the start: Use of restrooms in stores or businesses requires a purchase.

Registration: Please register and sign the electronic waiver. This saves time at the start of the ride. 

Weather: Please come with long fenders, including a buddy flap, if the roads are wet. The ride will be canceled with heavy rain, high winds, flooding, ice/snow or other unsafe riding conditions, and a cancellation comment will be posted here at least two hours before the start of the ride.

Mechanical issues: You should also be prepared to fix a flat tire, with tools, tubes and the ability to change the tire yourself. The group will generally not stop for repairs.

Note: Please show up to the ride start at least 20 minutes early, so we can discuss the safety briefing before starting the ride promptly at 10:00am.
