Family Spring Ride from Ron Regis Park
If you are new, please read our newcomer information.
We are continuing our Spring Family rides with a pleasant easy 7 mile family oriented ride on the Cedar River Trail. Today's ride begins at Ron Regis Park in Renton, heading east. On this route we often have the opportunity to see our native Bald Eagles. We welcome all ages, the slowest rider sets the pace so that no one gets left behind. Restrooms (porta-potty) at the start.
Bring all tools and tubes needed to fix a flat. Please be courteous to your fellow riders and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start to prepare your bike, listen to the ride briefing and SMART talk to allow us to leave on time. Please dress in layers, be prepared for it to be cold. Having extra gloves, hand warmers, extra water and snacks it highly recommended.
Cue sheets will not be provided, please print one if desired. Having a cue sheet wll help you if you need to return back ot the start before the ride is finished, or having a ride to pick you up.
In the event of bad weather, Ride Leader will post a cancellation in the comments section two hours prior to the start. Ride Leader will not be at the start if cancelled.
Please sign the waiver online to help save time. Just click on the red Register Now button at the top, click on the waiver button, fill in the Emergency Contact Information, and click on Save. Fenders with buddy flap required to ride within the group if there is a possibility of wet roads.
