Event has already happened.
We'll have several variations to the usual Lake Sammamish loop that we all know and love. First, we'll continue on West Lake Sammamish to Newport Way, turn left and head for the Issaquah Coffee Company for our lunch stop. Then we'll ride all the way to Marymoor on the trail. This will include about four miles of very hard packed gravel which is perfectly fine, even for the skinniest of tires. The reward is great views of the lake that you don't get from the road. And it's level! This ride is a mentoring opportunity for prospective ride leaders who have completed the ride leader training class. In the event of showers, ride will be cancelled and leader will not be at the start. Leader will post cancellation notice at least two hours before the start of the ride in the Comments section and monitor the listed phone and email.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
