EARTHDREAM Rides Vashon Island
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Looking for a ride where you can beat the heat? Join us on Vashon Island and enjoy beautiful water views, quiet country roads, and a challenging route. This will be a great training ride for people planning on late-season events like the High Pass Challenge, and if you are planning on riding the Passport 2 Pain, this will give you a preview of what is in store.
I have posted this as a vigorous paced ride, which is 18 - 20 mph on the flats. But Vashon Island isn't very flat. You can ride the hills at your own pace and we will regroup at the top of all hills. An attempt will be made to accomodate people with a range of abilities, but riders who are significantly off the group pace may need to finish the ride on their own.
We will meet at the Fauntleroy ferry terminal and take our bikes across on the 7:40 ferry. You can park at Lincoln Park a short distance away. The cost of the ferry is $6.40.
