Salmon Bone Bridge & High Point

Join us for a 30 mile, 1400-foot elevation gain ride as we tour downtown Seattle, the Salmon Bone Bridge, High Point (Seattle's highest spot at 520'), Alki, Schmitz Park, and Myrtle Edwards Park before returning to Gas Works.  We will regroup at the top of any major hills. There will be one or two optional hills for those who want the extra challenge including Charlestown St, the 4th steepest street in Seattle with a 20% grade.  The pace will be moderate but may feel like brisk effort because of the hills on the route.  Afterwards, we'll head to the Nickerson Street Saloon for food, drinks and socializing for those interested.  

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start time to get your bike set up, sign the waiver, and to listen to the safety talk.

I will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the Contact information.
