Mike McGinn event:

Join Cascade and the bicycling community in supporting Mayor Mike McGinn in his re-election campaign every Monday and Friday from now until Election Day!  We'll be meeting from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at McGinn for Mayor Headquarters (654 S. Jackson St).

Interested in joining us?  Please RSVP here.

Mayor McGinn has shown bold leadership in making our streets safer for everybody, whether they drive, haul freight, ride transit, bike or walk. He recognizes that sixty percent of people in Seattle want to bicycle more, but they are not doing it because they don’t feel safe. So he has shifted our bicycling investments toward physically protecting bike lanes from speeding car traffic and building more neighborhood greenways – low-speed, low-traffic streets that are safer for families.

Mike O'Brien event:

On Wednesday, October 23, join the bicycling community to help support Cascade endorsed Mike O'Brien for re-election to the Seattle City Council.  We'll be meeting at Cascade Bicycle Club's Magnuson Park office at 5:30 p.m. where we'll get a training, eat some food and spend a few hours talking to voters.

Interested in joining us?  Please RSVP here.

Councilmember O’Brien has championed efforts to secure additional funding for bicycling infrastructure and the region’s early efforts to bring a bike share program to Seattle. He sees what other cities are doing to support building a better community through bicycling and wants to see Seattle not just keeping up, but leading the way.

Conlin Event:

On Sunday, Oct. 20, join the bicycling community to help support Cascade endorsed Richard Conlin for re-election to the Seattle City Council.  We'll be meeting at Recycled Cycles in Fremont at 11 a.m. and heading out to talk to our neighbors and undecided voters.

Interested in joining us? Please RSVP here.

Councilmember Conlin has a track record of leadership in taking bold steps to advance bicycling, from supporting safety improvements that make our streets safer for everybody, to getting a bike lane planned on the new Portage Bay Bridge, to working with partner agencies and jurisdictions to secure tens of millions of dollars for investments in bicycling.
