On Seattle’s busy streets trucks, cars, bicycles and pedestrians live side-by-side. This causes many conflicts and tension but until there’s infrastructure to divide each mode of transportation, we’re going to have to be safe and courteous to each other.
Come learn about sharing the road at an upcoming Bike & Truck safety fair.
Hosted by the Port of Seattle, the fair is an opportunity to learn about blind spots and the challenges bicyclists and truck drivers face each day as they share Seattle’s streets.
The fair will feature truck “bind spot” simulation, truck ride-alongs, helpful safety information and a free continental breakfast.
The fair will take place Friday, Sept. 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. at Terminal 25, 3225 East Marginal Way. Event flyer.
