Cycle University opens new West Seattle location becoming the west coast’s largest indoor cycling camp and coaching company

Our friends over at Seattle-based Cycle University, a provider of bike instruction, training and coaching for riders of all ages and skills, have opened a new, 5000 square-foot facility in West Seattle located at 3418 Harbor Avenue SW, directly on the Alki bike trail. This second location gives the company more than 8,000 square feet of bicycle training and retail space, making it the largest bicycle coaching company on the West Coast. Cycle U has come a long way since sharing office space with us in Magnuson Park!

Since its founding in 2004 by local pro cyclist Craig Undem, Cycle University has experienced continual, year-after-year growth. The new store in West Seattle (previously located at a different location in West Seattle) adds more square footage and a dedicated indoor cycling facility to the large retail presence.

“This new location gives us more room to expand our selection of bikes, equipment, and apparel, plus the new indoor cycling center is just great,” says owner Craig Undem. “High ceilings, big windows with views of downtown, and right off of the Alki bike trail make it the perfect location for anyone looking to learn to ride or improve their skills and conditioning.”

Cycle University’s other location is on Sand Point Way, about halfway between the Cascade office and Seattle Childrens. The company began as a coaching program for all levels of bike riders, from first-timers to professional racers. By employing seasoned bike professionals, Cycle U has developed a reputation as the place to go for trustworthy, expert advice. Since its start in 2004, Cycle U has expanded its services to include: bike fitting, fitness testing, skills clinics, private lessons, Indoor Cycling, Elite Indoor Cycling ICE, Indoor winter racing, bootcamps, bike sales, repair, teams and coaching consultations.
