Ride from Gas Works Park located at the north end of Lake Union to the Swedish Cultural Center on Queen Anne for a breakfast stop consisting of Swedish Crepes with ham, coffee, etc. Cost of the breakfast is $9.00 payable with cash or check. Credit cards are not accepted. After the breakfast we will engage in bicycle riding to burn off the calories. The route will be by way of downtown Seattle on 2nd Ave., through the Chinatown area and then over the 12th Avenue bridge to Beacon Hill. There will be a short climb up to the the top of the hill followed by a restroom break at Jefferson Park. Following this stop the ride will resume southwest along the Chief Sealth Trail with return to Gas Works along the Lake Washington shoreline.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
