STP auctions benefit victims of Snohomish County mudslide

In the days since the tragic Snohomish County mudslide, we at the Cascade Bicycle Club have been brainstorming ways to show our support for the Oso community. Thanks to a great idea from a member, we've decided on a course of action.

We have been auctioning off a limited number of bibs for the sold-out Group Health Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic over the past weeks. These auctions benefit the non-profit Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation, helping us make cycling safer for riders of all ages and abilities.

But for the next two weeks, we will donate 100% of the proceeds from our STP auctions to victims of the Snohomish County mudslide.

This week we are offering two single registrations for the STP. Bidding ends Sunday, March 30 at 5 p.m. We will also open another two auctions next week that will close Sunday, April 6.

If you missed out on STP registration or simply want to contribute to a truly important cause, please dig deep and show your support. And because the retail value of these registrations is $120, any amount you bid above that is tax-deductible.

Our deepest sympathies go out to those who have lost their lives, livelihoods and loved ones to this tragedy. And thank you to the volunteers and emergency responders who are working tirelessly to provide safety and comfort to those affected.
