As MARK enters, his bike shoes CLICK CLACK across the kitchen floor tile. He leans in to give ELIZA a kiss on the cheek as she eats cereal at table. Mark's eyes are baggy and there's a hesitation to his step. Not his morning. 

Mark: Ugh, I had way too much fun last night at that Cascade Bike Happy Hour. I am dragging big time. 

Eliza: Are you sure you wanna bike in? You hit the snooze button, like, a gazillion times. 

Mark: I don't know. These bike shorts are pretty flattering, but I'm feeling super sleepy. Maybe I'll just skip work today.

Eliza: But aren't you chief of surgery? Can you just miss work like that? 

Mark: You're right. I guess I'll just go to work tired.

[FADE OUT]

Title card: Mark was so lethargic and inattentive that he lost his wedding ring inside a patient's tummy while performing surgery. He was fired for gross malpractice.
