| Ride Description: |
| We'll start at the Des Moines Marina and head east to the Green River, then follow the trail north through Kent and Tukwila. We then loop back to Southcenter Parkway and climb over the hill to Burien, then coast down to Three Tree Point. Back south though Normandy Park to return to the start.
We do a lot of hill climbing and we will regroup to let the ride leader catch up.
Make sure your bicycle is mechanically sound. Bring a pump, spare tube, repair kit, and a cell phone. There will be no sweep. Please arrive early and be ready to ride by 10:00 AM.
Directions to the starting point from I-5 -
Northbound - Exit 149-B. Merge onto WA-516 Westbound/Kent-Des Moines Road.
Southbound - Exit 149. Stay in the right exit lane and turn right onto WA-516 Westbound/Kent-Des Moines Road.
Follow Kent-Des Moines road down the hill. Turn right at Marine View Drive, then turn left at 227th. Follow 227th into the marina. Turn right (north) into the parking area.
