Ride Description:
Enjoy a mostly flat frolic in the Magnolia valley between Discovery Park in the north and Elliott Bay in the south. If the weather cooperates, we'll get a sweeping view of the Olympics, and either way, we'll poke around on quiet back streets and explore a bit of Discovery Park. We'll start with a short hill that some of us will walk. If you're of a mind to, bring something for a snack at the midpoint. The parking lot for the Discovery Park Visitors Center is on the small side, so you might want to park on the nearby streets and meet us in the park. Biker duds are welcomed, but jeans and tennis shoes are de rigueur.
