Ride Description:
The Eastside Ride The Hills DREAM Series (EARTHDREAMS): explores various circuits on the Eastside. On this ride, we will extend the Ramrod Training Series (RTS) #2 ride as part of our route. This is about a 63 mile ride at an 18-21+ pace on the flats with some intervals on the higher end of that range. There'll be about 3800 ft of climbing. Those of you who want to work on building power can do a rotating paceline in the front. Those who want to work on endurance can keep a LT pace and those who want to work on hills can do intervals on a couple of the longer hills. There's something for everyone on this. Please print your own cue sheet. Meet at the start by 9:15 am, we leave promptly at 9:30 am. Please locate ride leader as we are also modifying the start to stay off the trail. Cue sheet will be provided electronically at the link above/below though we will regroup at the top of longer climbs. Climb at your own pace, or try to keep up with the stronger riders for a challenge or to develop your hill climbing abilities. If you are significantly off the pace, the cue sheet and map should help you complete the ride or get you back to the start. We will make the determination at the start if weather is poor. Fenders appreciated if the roads are wet even if it's not raining. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1100809
