Martin Criminale is an avid cyclist with an extensive bike collection. With more than a dozen bikes between him and his wife, storing them can be a challenge. So when Martin and his wife started designing their new home, the bikes got a room all for themselves.

Designed by Chadbourne + Doss Architects, the Criminales’ “Cycle House” features a bike room that would make any avid cyclist green with envy.  The  250-square-foot room features wall racks for their 18 bikes, a workbench and  bike stand for maintenance projects, counter space and doors that open up to a courtyard where hot-and-cold water hoses allow for a quick bike rinse.

Come see the Cycle House for yourself during the “Tour of Architects”, coming up March 23 and 24.
