RIDER PACKET OPTIONS
Already ordered packet mailing? If your packet has not arrived by ride day, please check in at our problem booth at the start line. We will look up your registration and get you a replacement bib, no problem.
Please ensure that your mailing address is listed correctly on your Cascade account to avoid delays.
Packet Pickup at Cascade Bicycling Center-FREE!
Jan 31 & Feb 1 (10 am- 8 pm)
Didn't order packet mailing? Pick up your packet during the Cascade Bicycle Club packet pickup event at the Cascade Bicycling Center from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, January 31-February 1. A friend/family member may pick up your packet for you by showing the confirmation email.
Day of Packet Pickup-$10/$20
If you pick up your packet day of there will be a $20 charge day of, $10 if you purchased day-of packet pickup in advance online*
Missed the packet pickup event? Please pick up your rider packet for a charge ($20 day of, $10 if purchased in advance) at the packet pickup tent near the start line, 6 a.m. at Taylor Ave. N. and Thomas St. (but be prepared to wait in line).
*Due to the high number of riders for this event and the tight deadlines to start the ride, Cascade is encouraging as many riders as possible to choose packet mailing ($10) or attend the FREE Packet Pickup at the Cascade Bicycling Center Jan 31 & Feb 1 (10 am- 8 pm)
The ride will start and end on 6th Ave. N and Harrison St. (two blocks east of the Space Needle).
The parking garages in the area will be open. Best option is to park out of the area and ride your bike into the start. Carpooling/transit/other methods of transportation to the start line are encouraged. King County Metro Trip Planner.
If you ordered packet mailing it will be mailed out a 5 to 10 days prior to the event. Look out for an envelope that says “Rider Packet” from Cascade. All others will need to pick up their rider packet at the times listed in above under 'packet pickup.' If you are unable to attend packet pickup and did not order packet mailing, you will be able to pick up your packet day of for a charge ($10 if purchased in advance, $20 otherwise).
Schedule for the Ride
- 7 to 9:30 a.m. Packet pickup/customer service tents open.
- 8 to 10 a.m. Ride starts! – Tunnel officially opens with access to SR 99. Access closes at 10:15 a.m. – no exceptions.
- 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Family friendly start time – for families who want to stay out of the clutter.
- 10:15 a.m. Tunnel entrance closed.
- 11:30 a.m. All riders need to be out of the tunnel.
- 11:30 a.m. Viaduct entrance closed.
- 12:00 p.m. Course closed all riders off the viaduct.
- 12:30 p.m. Finish line closes
- 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Finish Line Expo on 6th Ave. N
NOTE: These times are hard closures and cannot be changed, so please give yourself extra time.
Same as the Start Line – On 6th Ave. N and Harrison St. two blocks east of the Space Needle.
- 7 – 9:30 a.m. Start Line booths open
- 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Finish Line booths and Expo open.
All riders will receive a commemorative souvenir which can be picked up from the Cascade booth at the event start or finish line. T-shirts will also be available for purchase.
