Ride Description: 

We'll leave Sam Smith Park at 9:00am, pick up riders at Enatai Beach Park (under east end of I-90 east channel bridge) at 9:#0, then pick up riders at Tibbetts Park in Issaquah at 10:00. 
We'll climb Squak from Tibbetts, and then go out to May Valley.  We’ll climb Licorice Fern hill going thru May Valley, and then climb China Creek and Newcastle Golf.  We’ll finish off with a Cougar climb and the Montreaux descent.
There will be no specific food stop on this ride.  So please bring plenty of nutrition and two water bottles for such a long hilly ride.  

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

 I will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Weather Cancels” above. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the Contact information. If you have questions about the weather, please call (or email) before you leave for the ride

I'm not familiar with Sam Smith Park - where can we park? Also, the park is quite large, please let me know where we meet inside the park.The Garmin Connect link indicates that we start near the tennis courts...?

there is lots of parking on the east side of Martin Luther King Jr Way South on either side of the "Mountains to Sound Greenway trail" aka the bike trail as it heads east from MLK JrWay

yes, our meetup spot is northeast of the tennis courts along the trail about 30 yards before the west tunnel entrance
