FRUMPS-60 Acres/Issaquah/Lake Hills
If you are new, please read our newcomer information.
Join our Friday group for a scenic, steady paced, social ride with a fun and tasty lunch stop at Blazing Bagels in Redmond. There are hills but we will climb them at our own pace. The start location has a port-a-pot but no water so please bring full water bottles. I have planned the lunch stop later in the ride (mile 31) due to winter temperatures so we get all the climbing in to keep us warm then have only a short return to the finish after lunch. Be sure to bring lots of pocket snacks and money for lunch. There will also be 2 short rest stops with restrooms and water at mile 14 and 24.
IMPORTANT: Please note the start location is the newer and much larger parking area at the far east end of the 60 acres area, NOT the small lot by the Sammamish River trail. Just drive a little further east past that small lot and the entrance will be on your right just before the road heads up a steep hill.
Please arrive by 9:40 to allow time to prepare your bike and use the restroom so we can have the safety/ride briefing and depart on time at 10 am.
Showers, frosty roads or freezing conditions will cancel this ride. Rain during the ride could amend the route. If I need to cancel the ride due to inclement weather I will post a cancellation notice in the comments section of this ride posting no later than 8 am on ride day and then will not be at the start. Please check the comments section before driving to the start.
