I'm not sure where the best place to bring this up would be and would be welcome to hear others ideas, but riding the Burke Gilman every day in the dark winter months I am reminded how the stretch east of stone-way to gasworks park is super sketchy in the evening. It is dark and crowded with invisible pedestrians and bikers without lights in addition to many cracks on one side that force riders to the middle of the trail. On top of that there is a build up of wet leaves that have not yet been cleared out. There is a history of collisions and falls along that stretch
My suggestions are:
1) either the city or volunteers clean up the leaves
2) the city puts in some lighting along that very dark part of the trail.
I would be more than happy to raise my concerns where it would count the most, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that so I figured I would start here.
