Ride Description:

Please join Cascade Bicycle Club to celebrate the completion of 520 bike lane! We will be riding from East Montlake Park (formerly MOHAI) to Evergreen Point and back. This is a stay-together ride with no cue sheet available. The route is mostly flat, but both sides of the bridge have a short climb.

In order to avoid unnecessary traffic jam in the neighborhood, please consider taking the public transit (Light rail to UW station, Metro buses to UW Medical Center, etc.). Another option is to drive/park in nearby neighborhoods and ride to the start on Burke-Gilman Trail or Arboretum Trail.

PLEASE ARRIVE 30 minutes before 3pm for Cascade's official safety SMART briefing. This will give us time to be in the line for the first crossing of the bridge. Please click on the red "Register" button below the title for signing an e-waiver prior to the ride date. It will help the ride start process very smooth.

Do you live in east side? Please find the ride that starts on the other side on the calendar.

There will be no bathroom or drinking fountain at the start. Please come prepared. Also, please bring both front and rear lights just in case of unforeseen hold up (including picture time :-).

Hi Lynn,
Thank you for your inquiry. Kids are welcome on this ride! As for registration... You can certainly make an account for each kid and preregister as the start location might get very busy, but if you don't, it's not the end of the world ;-).
See you on Wednesday!

Even though it's miserable out there this morning (Tues, Dec 19), the forecast is calling for a clear day tomorrow. Make sure to have layers of clothes ready to ride!

Also, PLEASE collect (buy or borrow) both front and rear lights for your bike especially if you are riding home after the celebration. Tomorrow's sunset time is 4:17pm.

See you all tomorrow :-).

Oh shoot, I need to cancel my registration. We are so bummed to miss this ride. Have fun!!

Opening Day festivities reach out all through the game of baseball, from several Minor League Baseball establishments to school, secondary school, and youth alliances in North America and past. Since Major League Baseball, by and large, begins their season first among proficient groups, their Opening Day is the one most ordinarily perceived by the overall population. Harley Davidson Leather Jacket
