Tour a few of Seattle's stellar parks, check out a couple of amazing P-Patches and travel some historic trails in this ramble around north Seattle (See RidewithGPS route link). Starting at the west end of the Burke-Gilman Trail, the route traverses the Ballard Locks, heads around Magnolia and through Lower Queen Anne, then along the Cheshiahut Trail on Lake Union, over to Montlake and back to north Ballard along Green Lake. Stops include a community garden atop a parking garage with a "planted car," historic Interlaken Park trail, and the lush Washington Park Arboretum. Bring $ for coffee stop at Zoka in the University Village neighborhood.
