Redhook - Lake Sammamish Loop NOTE--Pacific Standard Time

Invitation: Come join us for a relaxed counter-clockwise ride around Lake Sammamish. This will be a mentored ride for Coni Lumsden. 

Today's Route: We’ll start at the Redhook Brewery and take the surface roads to get to West Lake Sammamish Parkway. Typically, we would warm up by taking the trail, but we will avoid the trail due to the Pineapple Classic 5K that will be held at Marymoor. After we pass the park, we’ll stick to the standard loop around the lake with the proverbial stop at Tully's for a hot drink, before heading back to Redhook.

Registration: Your registration on this website is appreciated; all you'll have to do at the start of the ride is check off your name. You don't need to be a member of the club, but you do have to create an account. If you have any questions about this process, just contact the series director.

Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to check off your name or sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We’ll regroup occasionally as needed. Riders must be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:00 am in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.
