Scenic Log Boom Park-Sultan Loop Ride
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This enjoyable scenic country ride provides great conditioning. We ride on the Burke-Gilman trail, and good roads, through Woodinville, Monroe and Sultan. See the attached pictures on the link below. You will need to bring two full water bottles and a snack to eat while riding. Bathrooms available at Log Boom Park, and we will make a bathroom stop at Lewis Street Park in Monroe on the Skykomish River at approximately 20 miles distance, and at the half way point where we will stop at the Sultan Bakery for a snack. Climb the hills at your own pace and we will regroup at the top. The pace on level pavement is 16-18 mph with no wind, slower up hills, and faster down hills.
Please register online prior to the ride using the attached registration tab, no need to cancel if unable to make it. Alternatively sign the wavier at the starting location. We will have a brief introduction and safety briefing prior to the ride, and then we will ride out. Arrive early so that your bike is ready to ride, and we can finish the safety discussion and start riding at the listed time. The attached gps link below provides a printable, down loadable map and cue sheet.
As with all Cascade Bicycle Club rides be prepared to fix your own flats, wear a well-fitting helmet, and no ear buds.
In the event of steady rain I will not be coming to Logboom Park.
