Free Group Ride
A Delicate Balance- Magnuson to Edmonds for Reilly and Maloney in concert
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Back in 1973, I was a High School Sophomore with a terminal wish to be cool. So, I signed up for Folk Guitar I. I still wasn't cool, but I learned about a whole world of music that I hadn't known about before. Bluegrass, country, and a ton of folk. Among my teacher's favorite artists were folk duo Ginnie Reilly and Dave Maloney, whose wonderful vocal blend helped fire my love of harmony. 43 years later, Reilly and Maloney are doing a final season before retiring. And here's your chance to catch them in a free concert in Edmonds, with a little bike ride thrown in!
We'll head out from Cascade Bike Club, ride a few hills out through Lake City and Shoreline, then head out through Richmond Beach on the way to a 3:00 PM concert at Edmonds City Park. After the concert, we'll head up into Lynnwood, then back down to Lake Forest Park before rolling back to Magnuson. Pack a snack for the concert stop. Wet weather cancels. Mentoring opportunity available, contact me if interested.
The ride leaders will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Weather Cancels” above. I will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the Contact information. If you have questions about the weather, please call (or email) before you leave for the ride.
