Free Group Ride
SLOW Ride to Bainbridge for Barbara Earl Thomas Exhibit
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Ride SLOW with Senior Ladies on Wheels to the Colman Ferry Terminal and Bainbridge Island to see a FREE retrospective exhibit of the works of Barbara Earl Thomas, founding executive director of the Northwest African American Museum. We'll follow the Mountains to Sound Trail and low-traffic streets (plus an elevator shortcut) to travel stress-free.
Everyone welcome, ladies and gentlemen, old and young, and everyone in between - as long as you ride SLOW! No one will be left behind - the slowest rider sets the pace. And there's no shame in getting off and walking a block or so. There's a reasonably-priced cafe in the museum where we can stop for lunch. Weather won't cancel; this is a really short, easy and social ride. Bring ferry fare ($8.20 adults; $4.10 seniors/disabled; $1 bike surcharge unless you pay with ORCA) and sack lunch or lunch money. Museum entry is free.
