Ride #12 is the century ride we've been leading up to. Leaving Sumner we head over to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and into Gig Harbor. We'll cruise up to take the Southworth ferry over to Fauntleroy, Alki and back home. This is a long ride with most of the elevation in the first half of the ride.
PLEASE NOTE THE EARLY 7:00 AM START.
If you are new to group riding, please review the Cascade newcomer info: http://www.cascade.org/welcome-newcomers.
Restrooms at the start. Bring all tools and tubes needed to fix a flat.
Please be courteous to your fellow riders and arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start to prepare your bike, listen to the ride briefing and allow us to leave on time.
Cue sheets will not be provided, please print one if desired. Regroups will be as needed and at the top of major hills. We will wait a reasonable amount of time but in the interest of the group we may not be able to wait an extended period of time.
