More and more people are choosing new ways to get around. From micro-mobility to bikeshare and new technologies, we’re highlighting both the growing enthusiasm for mobility solutions and the emerging questions surrounding how to effectively regulate, encourage, and evaluate these differing modes of transportation. With this in mind, we are excited to announce this year’s theme: New Mobility!

Why new mobility?  People in Washington state and beyond are tapping into new mobility. From connecting neighbourhoods by democratizing access, encouraging healthy habits, and sparking technological innovation, here's how governments, communities, businesses, and advocates are using new mobility to bring us closer together.  In addition, we hope to discuss how new mobility affects bicycling. These important and emerging issues have real impacts and potential for people who bike. So join Cascade Bicycle Club and Washington Bikes as we share, connect, and learn at the 2019 Washington Bike Summit.

Call for Speakers

Now closed.  The period to submit a Request for Proposals (RFP) ended on Dec 1st. This conference RFP seeks innovative and educational content related to biking, active transportation, and new mobility around Washington state and beyond.  Share your proposals on:

  • Emerging technology
  • Engaging new audiences
  • Collecting and evaluating data
