Carnation to Duvall on Gravel
If you are new, please read our newcomer information.
Ride from Carnation to Duvall and back on the packed-gravel Snoqualmie Valley Trail. Bring a bike with 700x28 or larger tires. We'll ride high-steady pace (14 mph).
We'll start at the main parking lot for Tolt-MacDonald Park, which is off of State Route 203 on the south edge of Carnation. Please park at the far south end of the parking lot. We'll get on the trail there and follow it along the Tolt River to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, then on to Duvall. Depending on conditions, we can take side trips to see this and that along the way. Porta-pot at the start.
NOTE: The Stossel Bridge over the Snoqualmie River on Carnation Farm Road is closed. There is no access to Carnation from State Route 202/Ames Lake Road. Go over Tolt Hill Road from SR 202, or take SR 203 from Fall City or Duvall. http://gismaps.kingcounty.gov/roadalert/PrintView.aspx
The listed phone number will not be answered on the morning of the ride, except as noted below.
NOTE: If the weather is wet and the trails are gucky, we won't ride and I will not go to the ride start. If that happens, I'll put a ride-cancelled note in the Comment block below by 7:30 AM on Tuesday, and I'll stay at the listed phone number if you have questions.
