Business Bike Summit
2018 Business Bike Summit
For the first time being held on the Eastside! RSVP now!
The Business Bike Summit is a half-day event aimed at employers, property managers, and interested employees who want to support and encourage biking as a viable commute option for their employees and tenants. Our keynote speaker represents a business that’s leading the way in being bike friendly. Following the keynote are breakout sessions covering encouragement, facilities, leadership buy-in, commute incentives and more. The formal program is followed by plenty of time for networking. This event provides a supportive environment for business representatives to share success stories and learn from each other.
Sessions include:
-
Keynote with Flip Morse (Senior Vice President, Corporate Resources, Nintendo of America)
-
Encouraging Your People to Bike with Melissa Gaughan (Transportation Planner, King County Metro) and Amy Taylor (Program Manager, Greater Redmond Transportation Management Association)
-
New Infrastructure panel with Jean White (Regional Trail Program Manager, King County Parks), Franz Loewenherz (Principal Transportation Planner, City of Bellevue), and Peter Dane (Associate Transportation Planner, City of Redmond)
-
Bike Facilities Tour led by Nintendo’s Cycling Team
-
Networking hour with hors d'oeuvres by Fire and Scrape.
This event is free, but registration is required.
