Major Taylor Project gifted new van to help grow capacity

Teaching a generation of bike riders and bike advocates starts early. Cascade's Major Taylor Project brings the knowledge and tools needed to create that foundation to young people in 18 schools throughout King County and Pierce County.

The Major Taylor Project's innovative after-school program touches and shapes the lives of over 500 students every year, and continues to grow the number of schools and depth of programming offered to students.

That's why we are so excited to announce today that a new member has joined the Major Taylor Project team, expanding the ability for the team to reach Cascade's vision: bicycling for all. Welcome our newest member of the fleet!

In partnership with community partners Vulcan Inc and Brotherton Cadillac we are introducing a new van for the 2019-2020 school year and beyond. Our new van is a transformational moment in the history of the Major Taylor Project; the team has a new and increased capacity to bring bicycling to more schools and more students.

Thank you, Vulcan Inc and Brotherton Cadillac. See you on the road!
