Good with a wrench? Come to our maintenance party

It's that time of the year when our fleets of bikes return to Cascade after being used by students throughout the region in their P.E. classes for Basics of Bicycling. Hundreds of kids have either learned to ride a bike or have improved their bike handling skills and road safety knowledge through this program.

We now need to get them in good working order for the winter and spring P.E. classes.

We've scheduled the dates/times listed below for volunteers to come by Cascade Bicycle Club (7400 Sand Point Way NE) to help us maintain nearly 300 BMX bikes.

We will have identified the maintenance issues with each bike before you come so that you can just get started. Maintenance could involve basic issues such as putting air in tires or tightening bolts, or it could be more complex issues such as replacing a bottom bracket. All bike maintenance skill levels are welcome! We'll provide the pizza!

Please let us know if you are able to help out by contacting Miranda Kubasti at ypa@cascadebicycleclub.org and let her know the date(s) that you will be able to volunteer.
