Sign up today for the July-August Walk Bike Ride Challenge

With warm, sunny weather on the way for the next several months (fingers crossed!), summer is a great time to get outside and explore your neighborhood by bike, by bus, or on foot. Take advantage of the nice weather and register for the City of Seattle's July-August Walk Bike Ride Challenge.

Like Cascade's Group Health Commute Challenge, the July-August Walk Bike Ride Challenge is a great way to start reducing your car trips and increasing your walking, biking, and transit trips. Track your bus, carpool, bike, or walking trips on an online personal trip calendar and you could win some great prizes – including an electric bike, gift cards to REI or Nordstrom, or a night at the Pan Pacific Hotel! The more trips you take by bike, bus, or foot, the more chances you have to win. Every time you bike, walk, or bus instead of driving, you’re saving money and improving your health – a win-win for everyone! You can join the challenge at any time from now until the end of August and start converting car trips to walking, biking, transit or carpool.

So get moving, get active, get prizes. Take the Walk Bike Ride Challenge this summer.
