Adventure cyclist, Willie Weir has cycled the world in countries including India, South Africa, Bosnia, Cuba and Colombia ... and now ... (wait for it) PORTLAND!

Some 10,000 cyclists take a little jaunt to Portland every July, but what about a bike trip IN Portland? Willie Weir and his partner Kat Marriner did just that: a week-long, fully-loaded bike trip within the city limits of Portland. We're talking tent, stove, sleeping bags. No reservations. No hotels. An urban adventure at its frugal finest! They camped in backyards, crashed on futons and spent a whopping total of $12 on lodging.

Willie will take you through a week of soaking in Portland's bike network and culture, from a late-night Zoobomb, to a morning commute on the Hawthorne bridge, to Biketobeerfest.

Just how does Seattle compare to Portland when it comes to the bicycle life? What can we learn from the City of Roses (and bike boulevards)? Can you really bike tour in a city on a budget?

Questionable scientific studies have proven that Willie Weir is 37 percent more entertaining than your average presenter. So show up early and leave inspired.
