Volunteer Coordinator

Kelli Refer

Wheels: A rose-colored Nishiki Mixte that is probably older than Kelli

Commute: 8.5 Miles taking the windy Interlaken Blvd from the Central District

Bio: A Colorado native, Kelli started biking in the sunny and flat city of Denver. She moved to Seattle in 2009 where she grabbed a rain jacket and threw her bike into the lowest gear. The hills are worth it to ride on ferry boats, explore coniferous forests and bike around the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

She started with Cascade as a Bicycle Ambassador in 2013 and loved exploring the city and talking to people about bicycles. She is now honored to be the Volunteer Coordinator.

She is also the author and illustrator of Pedal, Stretch, Breathe: The Yoga of Bicycling. She loves talking to new people over a locally brewed beer, crafting, gardening and cooking meals for friends. Maybe if you volunteer enough, she'll cook for you too!
