Dylan Joffe

Wheels: A loaner from one of my gracious coworkers. I sold my beautiful Bianchi Torino (and most of my belongings) to move to Seattle.

Commute: 7 miles and a big hill.

Favorite kind of riding: Commuting. My life changed for the better when I started commuting by bike. It's such a great way to clear your head before and after a work day.

Bio: A native east-coaster raised in Maine, Dylan moved to Seattle in the fall of 2014 after seeing Mount Rainier for the first time. Before trading in snowy winters for rainy ones, Dylan lived in Boston, where she graduated from Emerson College with a degree in political communication and worked for social/advocacy nonprofits and campaigns. At different points during her (almost) decade in Boston, Dylan ran social media for a large supermarket chain, told stories at the Moth, had her writing published in a real book (!!!), learned that chenin blanc is the dominant grape of Vouvray and made greeting cards.
Dylan fell in love with biking while living in Cambridge, Massachusetts, fondly known as "biker's paradise," and she has never looked back.
