The midpoint will be located in Centralia at the Centralia College.

This location has a lot to offer, such as 30 acres of camping space, 200+ showers, food vendors, full cafeteria, beer garden, television viewing areas that will broadcast the Tour de France and parking for RV and support vehicles.

The expert massage therapists from Washington Sports Massage Team will also be onsite to soothe your weary riding muscles. Massages are only $18 for a 15-minute massage (cash and credit accepted).

This bike corral will be continuously staffed by the Centralia Reserve Police Department during your stay in the Centralia area for a small fee. Transportation will be provided via the Centralia Trolley and public bus system to various locations in Centralia such as Centralia Thorbeck’s, Nazarene Church, hotels, restaurants, shopping centers and antique malls. We recommend placing your bike in the bike corral if you intend on using the trolley or public bus systems. Local volunteers open their homes to riders to help support local charities in Centralia & Chehalis. For your $60 fee you receive sleeping accommodations and a shower with towel. Riders are responsible for their own dinner unless arrangements are made before the ride with their host family. Breakfast will be available upon request. Proceeds go towards Centralia College Scholarship foundation and Centralia/Chehalis Chamber of Commerce. At the start line, place your baggage on the Centralia baggage truck.


Relax at the end of the first day at the Centralia College Campus, which has 30 acres of inviting landscape, restrooms, showers, television viewing areas, cafeteria, and parking for RVs ($25) and support vehicles. An improved bike security system (bike corral) will be available from the Centralia Police Department. Transportation to off campus restaurants, shops and theaters will be provided by the City of Centralia. The extremely popular Beer Garden will return and will be placed in a strategic area to provide a pleasant environment as well as an opportunity to view TV programming. Start off Sunday with a full carbo load from the pancake feed in the college cafeteria.

Pre-registration for floor space is available for $30 via the Saturday Night Lodging Reservation Form . Registration at the door is $35, which includes showers and towel rental, television and use of exercise equipment. At the start line, place your baggage on the Centralia baggage truck.


A $30 fee including indoor camping in school, outdoor camping or RV parking, indoor bike storage, baggage service, and shower (no towels). Large group arrangements are possible. A spaghetti dinner will be available Saturday evening for $7 as well as a $5 pancake and eggs breakfast on Sunday morning. Funds raised benefit the Napavine Elementary School. Indoor (FULL as of 5/19) and outdoor camping located in Vader on the route just off of Hwy 506. Your $50 fee includes snacks upon arrival, baggage service, bike storage, floor space, showers without towels, lasagna dinner, and pancake breakfast. (Special meals, such as vegetarian or vegan, available upon request.) The floor in the Lions Hall is hard, so consider bringing and air mattress. Tent and RV space is available for $30 and include shower, dinner, and breakfast. Outdoor campers will be showering in a private home 3 blocks from the camping area. We work hard to make you happy, but space is limited so sign up early. At the start line, place your baggage on the Vader baggage truck.


Indoors camping in Winlock’s community building right on the STP route (Hwy 603). Please bring an air mattress, as the floor is Cement.  A Shower with towel, hot Dinner and continental Breakfast are included with overnight fee of $55. Within walking distance are many restaurants and bars. All proceeds earned by the Lions club go back into the community for eyeglasses, eye surgeries, seeing eye dogs and hearing aids. Located 4 miles south of Chehalis on the STP route. A $50 fee includes indoor camping in a carpeted room, outdoor camping, shower (no towel), indoor bike storage, dinner, breakfast, and baggage service and shuttle service to local shopping area. Located one mile from scenic Borst Park or 1½ miles from the Centralia outlets is offering several choices for STP lodging with convenient online registration and payment. Sleeping space is $50 (per person) in an air-conditioned building on carpeted gym floor with air mattress; or $300 for groups of 5 or more in a private carpeted classroom w/an air mattress. Amenities include on site showers (towels included), secured indoor bike storage, basic cable, Wi-Fi by request, DVD movies available, lasagna or vegi ravioli dinner from 5 - 7 PM and an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 4:30 to 6:45 a.m. We also have plenty of outdoor space for non-pedaling family members and friends to park their RVs ($20 space + $20 per person includes showers, and meals). Located along the route at 1315 S. Tower Ave. CCS is located within minutes of Centralia College campus and offers multiple options for lodging.  Our hosts homes are known for taking excellent care of STP riders and can accommodate individuals and groups. Riders and host are matched to meet individual needs. Some homes offer extra amenities such as hot tubs and saunas. A $60 fee includes transportation for the riders to and from Centralia College, secure bike storage, dinner and breakfast (requests accepted for special diets), a comfy bed and a hot shower. On-site lodging at the school is available too. After re fueling and resting, wake up on day two and ride from our doors to the route. On-site options include:

  • Indoor camping space in our gym- includes baggage transportation, secure bike storage, all you can eat dinner, breakfast and snacks; shower facilities and library space for relaxing.  $45 per person

Located just 5 short blocks from the Centralia College midpoint, The Centralia Salvation Army offers a cot and blanket, towel, breakfast (including: eggs, pancakes and sausage), dinner (featuring: spaghetti, salad and garlic toast), snacks, and beverages. There is room for 36 cots in the main hall, one restroom with 1 shower and a large men’s and women’s restroom. Air-conditioned rooms and secure indoor bike storage are all included in the $40 dollar fee. Four private rooms at $20 are available on a first come, first served basis. Chehalis Music Booster Club members and friends offer spaces in their homes. A $60 per person fee includes a bed, shower facilities, dinner and breakfast, plus baggage and transportation services. Homes will be located in the greater Chehalis area. Fundraiser proceeds go to help defray costs of entry fees, travel, accommodations, uniforms, etc. for Chehalis School District music students to attend competitions, exhibitions, and camps.

2) From Centralia College, head south on Pearl, left on Summa, right onto Centralia-Alpha Rd.  After crossing North Fork Road (11 miles) turn right at Preserve (.6 mi).  (Steeper but shorter)

3) From I-5:  Take exit 71.  Cross I-5 eastbound.  Take first left and immediate right onto Forest-Napavine Rd.  Turn left at stop sign onto Jackson Highway.  Turn right at Minute Stop Grocery onto North Fork Road.  Turn right onto Centralia-Alpha Rd.  Preserve is .6 mi on right. Note Thousand Trails signs at every turn.

A $15 fee includes indoor camping in school gym, outdoor camping if desired, shower (no towel), baggage service and indoor bike storage. Also available for those who register are your choice of self serve buffet style spaghetti dinner for $8 and a buffet style breakfast offering fruit, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, etc. for $7. Meals are provided at the Senior Center, located downtown. Lodging is available at two locations. The Elementary School is located downtown. It is close to the ride route. The High School is located in a more rural location. On-site registration will be available for outdoor camping only. There is a shuttle bus that runs downtown on Saturday evening. Follow the scenic Jackson Highway from Chehalis to Toledo High School. This route adds 2.3 miles to the STP route and rejoins you to the main route in Vader. Traffic is minimal, shoulders are adequate and the scenery is great. A $40 fee includes sleeping space, shower (no towel), indoor bike storage, baggage service, all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner (meat and vegetarian) from 6 - 9 PM and a pancake and ham breakfast from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The dinner includes green salad, fruit salad, bread, cookies, brownies, juice, coffee, and water. The breakfast consist of pancakes, eggs, ham, fruit, coffee, juice, and water. Plenty of shaded outdoor space for RV, tent and/or non-pedaling family members and friends for $40. The Toledo volunteers will be providing an air conditioned meeting room with Carpeted floor cots provided, separate Men’s & Woman’s Restrooms with Showers & Towels, Secure indoor bike storage area and luggage pickup. A $55 fee includes, a choice of Meat & Cheese Lasagna or Broccoli alfredo dinner (including salad, bread) Beverages include Lemonade, Milk, Coffee, Tea, and Water. Located near mile 134 on the STP route. A $20 per camper fee includes indoor gym/outdoor lawn camping, indoor bike storage, and showers (towels not provided.) A complete spaghetti dinner will be offered on site for $10 payable at the door. Dinner includes spaghetti with/without meatballs, salad, garlic bread, beverage, and dessert. Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. and will be served until 9:00 p.m. A licensed massage therapist and first aid station will be available on site. RV parking is available behind the school for $20 per vehicle per night. RV parking must be reserved in advance. Concessions run Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Breakfast will be available Sunday morning from 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at a cost of $8 to be paid at the door. Breakfast items include pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee.
