She Bikes, she votes, she rides her ballot to the ballot box!
Now’s your chance to let loose your inner suffragette...on your bicycle! Join your She Bikes sisters in a fun and friendly bike ride to the downtown ballot drop. Bring your ballot, a friend, or just bring yourself.
A picture says a thousand words, so be sure to dress up for the camera as we show our support for the Move Seattle Levy. Speak up if you do not want your photograph taken; our pictures will be tweeted all over the city on election day, November 3rd, in support of the Levy.
Meet up at Gasworks Park, we'll take the Cheshiahud Loop along Lake Union and the 2nd Ave protected bike lane into town. After dropping our ballots, we'll head over to Collins Pub to celebrate our civic action.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
