Ride Description:

Tour de Seattle (VIII)

A loop around Seattle thru iconic places: Green Lake, Fremont - the Troll and Lenin, Ballard Locks, Magnolia Bridge, Smith Cove, Seattle Center Space Needle, International District, Lake Washington and the University.

The ride is hilly but we'll regroup often.  The pace is Moderate when we are on the flat; the route and pace is subject to change due to traffic and/or events.  Brief photo stops are okay.   Walking thru the Locks 1/4 mile is required.

Lunch will be at the Food Court at Seattle Center--bike locks recommended.

If you are new to Seattle or think of the city only in terms of freeway exits, this would be a good way get a different perspective.

Meet in front of the CBC office.  As you enter the main gate, turn immediately right.  There are porta-potties in the big parking lot down the hill.
