Ride Description:

A social steady paced loop from Mount Vernon to Bayview, Edison and Bow.  Lunch in Edison at  mile 26.  Terrain flat to gently rolling.  Although this ride is a bit of a drive (approx 1 hour from Lynnwood area) this gorgeous rural loop will make your drive worthwhile.  Start location is Edgewater Park on the Skagit River  near downtown Mount Vernon.   Directions:  I-5 north,  exit Kincaid Street in Mount Vernon (exit 226) left off exit then follow signs thru downtown for highway 536.  ( this will be basically a right on S. Third then bearing left onto Division to cross the Skagit River bridge)  As soon as you cross the bridge take the next left on Ball Street which will dead end at the park.  Restrooms available at start.  Please arrive and have you and your bike ready by 9:50 so the group can have a briefing and roll promptly at 10am. Cue sheets are on line for you to print.   In the case of inclemate  weather the ride leader may not be at the start but will post a cancellation here in the comments section at least 2.5 hours prior to the start time.  Ride leader will also be available by cell phone.
