Event has already happened.
This is a S.L.O.W. Ride with Senior Ladies* On Wheels (*all riders of all ages welcome, as long as you ride S.L.O.W.!).
Starting at the Northwest African American Museum on the I-90 lid, we will visit three neighborhood P-Patch gardens hidden from view: the Judkins P-Patch, Climbing Water on Hiawatha Place, and the Danny Woo International Garden in the Chinatown-International District. We take a short spur along 25th Avenue to Judkins, then return to follow the I-90 trail to Hiawatha Place. Carefully crossing Rainier Avenue at the light, we proceed on the sidewalk or narrow bike lane on Dearborn to the International District, where we ride the streets to the Danny Woo garden. After viewing gardens we will stop for lunch in the ID. We return by way of the 12th Avenue Jose Rizal Bridge and the I-90 trail. Pace is always geared to the slowest rider, and there's no shame in getting off and walking a stretch. Don't worry, we won't hurry!
