Cascade Single Cyclists (CSC) Happy Hour

Last February in conjunction with Valentine’s Day, Cascade held its first ever Cascade Single Cyclists (CSC) Happy Hour. The evening was a roaring success, with more than 75 cyclists and their friends attending. In addition to meeting new fellow active people, several lucky attendees won raffle prizes and everyone enjoyed the bicycling-themed custom drinks that were served.
This year’s event will be a no-host, energy filled, after work party held at the Solo Bar in lower Queen Anne on Thursday, Feb. 11. Come meet and mingle with single friends old and new, enjoy drinks from the awesome happy hour menu (runs from 5 to 7). Attendees can also watch the latest cycling DVDs, listen to cool tunes and meet other active singles ‘off the bike’. What could easier? Or more fun?
Have a special friend (or past date) who you know is a catch but just isn’t right for you? Bring him or her with you and we’ll enter you both into a free drawing to be held during the party. Not single but want to attend? Just invite a single friend along and we’ll turn a blind eye! Non-Cascade Bicycle Club members are also most welcome — in fact this is great way to introduce people to the Club and ALL the fun we have at our many free events.
So come join us. There’s no gimmick, just plenty of time to sit and talk to singles that have been out there and like you, are looking to meet that someone special. We can’t promise that you’ll meet the person of yourdreams*, but we do think you’ll meet some new friends to go hiking, dining, moviegoing, or, well, yes, maybe even cycling with!
*There are a couple of members who met last year at this very event, who are still dating each other. Hope springs eternal for the all CSC attendees!
