Ride Description:
(This ride is NOT published in the November Courier.) WORK OFF THAT TURKEY!! 35 Mile ride around the hilly and beautiful Vashon Island. 17.5 miles of elevation gaining 3,432 feet. THIS IS A HILLY RIDE. We'll ride around the Island and visit the lighthouse at Point Robinson Park. We meet at the Fauntleroy Ferry Dock at 9:45am. The Ferry leaves at 10:10, ($4.45/passenger $1.00/bike). We regroup just off the Ferry on the Vashon side prior to the start of the ride for a safety briefing. For those who wish, we stop in the town for a bite on the way back to the Ferry. Make sure you are prepared for Cold and Wet. Bring plenty of water and snack.
