Ride Description:
(This ride is NOT published in the November Courier.) 35 Mile ride around the hilly and beautiful Vashon Island. 17.5 miles of elevation gaining 3,432 feet. THIS IS A HILLY RIDE. We'll ride around the Island and visit the lighthouse at Point Robinson Park. We meet at the Fauntleroy Ferry Dock at 9:45am. The Ferry leaves at 10:10, ($4.45/passenger $1.00/bike). We regroup just off the Ferry on the Vashon side prior to the start of the ride for a safety briefing. For those who wish, we stop in the town for a bite on the way back to the Ferry. Make sure you are prepared for Cold and Wet. Bring plenty of water and snack.
