In this weekend-long intensive course, learn to interact positively and confidently with urban traffic--designed for recreational cyclists or commuters. Workshop covers bicycle traffic laws, lane positioning, basic equipment and maintenance, emergency maneuvers, and safety, with both on-bike and classroom time. Optional extra hour after first class to learn how to fix a flat; optional half hour after second session to take the League of American Bicyclists' exam. Helmets available for sale for $10 at class. Bring your bike,a helmet, a lunch and be prepared to ride! Includes handouts.
$75 for members, $80 for non-members. Additional $5 late fee applies if registering within 10 days of class. Register early to secure your place in the class.
