Empower the next generation of cyclists!

Empower the next generation of STP riders!

The Major Taylor Project is an after-school cycling program in underserved, multicultural communities for young people aged 11 to 18. The program, now in its third year, integrates bicycling, healthy living, bicycle maintenance, road safety awareness and the importance of working toward individual goals.

In 2010, 14 youth completed the 204-mile, two-day STP. In 2011, that number rose to 20.

This year 25 kids rode STP in record time!!

The STP is a powerful culmination of the Major Taylor Project experience. Throughout the school year, these remarkable cyclists will have built their biking skills, fitness level, confidence and sense of fun. And you—yes, YOU—help them take their accomplishments to the next level by helping them complete the ride of their lives.
