Who: Tens of thousands across the region and the state; Council candidates Halei Watkins and Rob Johnson; Councilmembers Mike O'Brien, Sally Bagshaw and Bruce Harrell

What: National Bike to Work Day.
Friday morning, thousands of people across the city, region and state will leave their cars at home and pedal to work. Dozens of "Commute Stations" along the way will provide them with encouragement, snacks and swag. F5 Bike to Work Day shows what our streets could look like every day if we continue encouraging and investing in bicycling as transportation.
Cascade will kick off the day with a ride and rally with local elected and the Bike to Work Day After Party at Velo Bike Shop will end the day with bites and beverages from Tom Douglas Restaurants and tunes from KEXP.
In 2014, between 15,000 and 17,000 people across the region rode to work on Bike to Work Day.
