Kirkland Policy Ride

I'm sure you've noticed that Kirkland is awesome these days and one of the Eastside's best communities to explore by bike.

Building new safer bike routes to schools, creating a connected network of neighborhood greenways, and finishing the Cross Kirkland Corridor will make it even more so.

Kirkland was the first Washington State city to pass a Complete Streets Ordinance, showing the cities comitment to designing streets that are safe for all users.

Join Cascade, Mayor Amy Walen, and Kirkland City Council Members on Friday, Feb. 28, on the Kirkland Policy Ride as we take a 5-mile bike ride around Kirkland.

On the ride you'll learn more about potential neighborhood greenways, bike lanes, bike overpasses and the Cross Kirkland Corridor. Afterwards we'll continue the disuccsion about how to maintain public and political support for making kirkalnd a safer place to ride at Wilde Rover.

RSVP and join us on Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Kirkland City Hall located at 123 5th Ave, Kirkland, Wash. Together we can create a community that's healthier and happier.
